What they think of me.
That was in 1970.
He was a retired general of the Army of Mexico.
One of my first customers. The memory still.
I remember what I said to his wife, after praying in St. Peter's Basilica: "I prayed for you too Francis, God bless you for the joy you have given, showing your beautiful city."
It is almost forty 'years, but not forget my emotion of that moment.
And I am even more convinced that I make a beautiful work:
I sell joy.

Francesco
A note of thanks for making our two weeks in Rome such a great experience.
Your knowledge of Rome's history, great buildings, sculptures, art
and religious evolution was exceptional. The sense of perspective and
injection of humor you provided at just the right moment made an
educational experience entertaining.
You made Rome "come alive"
Thanks for a making our Rome experience very special.
Cheers

Hi Francesco,
Just wanted to tell you how very much we appreciated your many fine tours throughout Rome and environs. Your presentations were fascinating and informative and spiced with a great sense of humor, and you have a strong, pleasant voice which is so important for a tour guide. In thinking back over several trips abroad, I can't think of a guide which we have enjoyed more. Your contributions substantially enriched our Rome experience.
All the very best,

Francesco: My wife and I were the leaders of the recent Siemer & Hand tour to Rome for which you gave a superb series of guided tours. Your knowledge intermingled with a fine sense of humor presented Rome to our group in a very accessible and exciting way. So........many thanks!!! If we ever return to Rome (without all those people!) we will look you up.
